From October 12 to 15, the on-site finals of the 2025 China International College Students’ Innovation Competition were held at Zhengzhou University. After fierce competition, GXU won 2 gold awards, 5 silver awards, and 6 bronze awards. This marks our second consecutive double-gold victory following the breakthrough in 2024, ranking first in the autonomous region for the number of national golds, silvers, and total awards.

The 2025 China International College Students’ Innovation Competition was co-hosted by the Ministry of Education and 10 other ministries, together with the People's Government of Henan Province, and organized by Zhengzhou University and the Zhengzhou Municipal People’s Government. The event aims to implement the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education, carry forward the red revolutionary spirit, and focus on integrating the ‘Five Educations’ into innovation and entrepreneurship practice. It inspires young students' passion for creativity and provides a platform for international exchange and cooperation. As the most prestigious, largest, and most influential innovation event for young students since the National Education Conference, this year’s competition attracted 24.43 million college students from 6.19 million projects, 5,673 universities across 161 countries and regions. Our university reached a record high with 6,158 registered projects and 22,548 participants.
